Rearrange Set up Buttons 15. Cash Register NEW FEATURES DETAILS: 1. Delete Sales Invoices: Many times there is a need to delete or remake an invoice due to some changes or errors. It is not convenient to create Sales Return of an existing invoice to cancel an existing invoice. You can now delete your sales invoices. Deleting your invoices is done very carefully in HDPOS. When you delete an invoice the stock of the items sold in that invoice will be reversed and all FA effects will be reversed. To keep the database clean, there will not be any unnecessary data left of the old invoice in the database. Once you start your database with the latest version, there is no limit on how old the invoice is. You will be able delete any Invoice. Please note you will NOT be able to delete invoices made in HDPOS prior to this version. 2. Deleting Other Documents: We are trying to make working with HDPOS as easy as possible and yet data entry errors are unavoidable. To easily rollback mistakes, we are now allowing you to delete all types of documents which may have been in created with error. You can delete Received Item entries (Purchases), Received Payments, Made Payments, Sales Returns and Purchase returns. The entire delete functionality is done very carefully to roll back ALL effects of the document being deleted and the database is left clean. 3. Tally Bridge: It is possible that you are using Tally Software to do your accounting or you have asked by your accountant to use Tally. We are making it very easy for you to use HDPOS for billing and stock management and you can continue to use Tally if you want. HDPOS offers complete financial accounting functionality and have all accounts and ledgers. If you choose to move that information to your Tally computer on regular basis, now you can do that. With new Tally Bridge feature you can send selective transactions from HDPOS to Tally by click of a button. 4. Prices based on Customer Type: Many times your business needs to offer different prices to whole sellers, distributors than the end users. Or there can be situations when you offer special memberships to your customers like Gold membership, Silver membership etc and offer different prices for different memberships. In both the cases above, HDPOS now offers ability to group your customers in different groups. Later you can assign different price lists to different group of customers. While billing if the customer is selected correctly, applicable price will show up automatically. 5. Clone Received Item Entry: Sometimes you have to repeat the same order to your supplier and do not want to spend time recreating and adding the same items. HDPOS now allows you to make a copy of an existing (old) purchase bill, you to make modifications if you need and receive the same item list quickly. 6. Simple Received Item Entry Form: Our current received Item entry is very functional but sometimes not all fields are applicable to your business and you feel overwhelmed with all that functionality which you do not use. In order to make the Receiving the stock easier HDPOS now offers a simplified Received tem Entry Form. 7. Subsidy Management: If you are doing business with items on which government is offering subsidy, HDPOS can help you. If you are selling Solar Powered equipment, Farming related equipment, government offers subsidy to the customer which you have to latter collect from government. HDPOS understand completely Subsidy management and makes the process of subsidy calculation and filing very simple for you. 8. Dual Measuring Unit: If your business requires that you keep the stock of item in dual mode HDPOS has added that support in this release. For example, if you deal with material like Sugar Sacks. You want to keep stock in number of sacks as well as KGs of sugar; you can do that easily in HDPOS. This will help you continue to work the way you do today and make it very easy for you to tally your stock and financial accounts. 9. Additional Serial Numbers for Items: So far HDPOS was allowing you to a single serial number for item sold. This was useful for you track warranty claims. But for items like Mobile Phones, you can have more than one serial number to track. For Example, IMEI Number, Battery Serial Number, Charger Serial Number etc. HDPOS now allows you to record and track various serial numbers associated with single item. 10. Easy Change of price using percentage: HDPOS allows you to change price on an item while making the bill. Sometimes you need to increase or decrease the price by percentage instead of flat amount. HDPOS now gives you very convenient and quick way to change the price at the billing time without having to pull out another calculator. 11. Item Notes in invoice: HDPOS now offers the ability for you to attach notes to individual items in your bill. For example, if you care collecting subscription fees, or rent and want to mention in the invoice the period for which it is being charged, you can do that very conveniently now with this feature. Besides the above you can use this simple but powerful feature in many different ways. 12. Including “Making Cost” in items: HDPOS is well suited for manufacturing units that “make” items. For example, manufacturing firm or pizza parlor or jewelry store etc require to include the “making” cost of the item besides its raw material as its purchase cost. This update of HSPOS lets define the making cost of the item that you are making besides its Bill of Material (BOM). This is very helpful as it gives you the correct idea of your expense in making an item and you can set its sales price accordingly. This is also useful while checking your profit margins per item. 13. Easy navigation of items using Custom Fields: HSPOS already offers a very powerful feature that allows you to specify your own fields for your items. For example, Brand, Color, Size, Flavor, Season, ISBN Number etc. This features allows you to teller HDPOS to perfectly match your needs. Your fields now will be helpful to you in more than one way. HDPOS is now offering filter of items based on your field selection. For Example, if you are a Shoe Store and looking for a shoe you can quickly short list to see only men’s shoes and then again only Bata shoes which will show you only men’s shoes from only Bata. You can even select more than one choice in a specific fields so in another example you can see men’s shoes from Bata OR Hush Puppies only. 14. Rearrange Set up Buttons: In this release we have added more set up buttons as we have added more functionality. Now there are 4 pages of set up buttons. Set up buttons are arranged by us in a specific order that would meet the need of most businesses. But it is quite likely that you may want to arrange them differently depending upon your business type and your working style. HDPOS now allows you to change the set up buttons layout the way you want. Not only that, each user can have his/her own layout even on the same computer! So when you log in with you Id you will always see the buttons in the order you prefer. 15. Cash Register: HDPOS has provided management of physical cash registers so far. In this new update we are introducing the concept of cash registers that are associated with each user. Each login can have a cash register associated with it. This will stream line the process of “handing over” the cash from one person to another at the time of “shift change” even when both of them are using the same physical cash register. For example when person A logs off she can transfer the cash from her cash register to another person’s cash register. When the second person logs in, she will see the cash being “handed over” to her, which she has to accept to proceed. This is an optional feature and will only come into play if you associate a login id with cash register. If you do not, the cash registers will continue to work like previous version.
