Very big hugs and thank yous to my friends and family who graced me with their presence at my Artists Reception at Cappys yesterday in San Antonio. Special thanks to my sister Cindy and brother in law Jerry who made it extra special and my friends Meredith and H.O. and lovely daughters who surprised the shit out of me by showing up from Austin, and my dear friend Becky Hagens who surprised me as well! I didnt give people too much notice but the friends and family that came...well...I have to say they are some of my favorite people on the planet! That includes Wisper Samson Herron, Roy Herron and Joey Barbosa. Without then I dont think I couldve pulled this off. And of course Trevor of Cappys and Leslie the artistic director there who pushed against odds to get my work in there and try something new! Now its time for new work!!! It was the loveliest day. Love you all!
