Very busy week! #Highlights Scott Splawn ran sound for me at an event in Gastonia. Hes one of the best sound guys Ive ever had. Hes actually an amazing guitar player and builds amplifiers. Running sound is a side job. Stopped by the Loray Mill and snapped a few photos. Youll understand why this mill is so important to me when you read Walk To Beautiful Had lunch with my friend Mark Foy. We had a slaw burger and minced barbecue sandwich at ROs Rehearsed with the Coyote Joes house band. Bra shopped with mom. Extremely weird -so I left. Drove to Lancaster South Carolina and ate homemade muffins and stayed in a bed-and-breakfast. The concert at the Baptist church was amazing. Sold out both nights. One of the members got mad because I said the word ass. [When you get off yours and start helping a kid then you can advise me what to say and what not to say] Sgt. Jeff Newton came to the show. I havent seen him in a long time. Sgt. Newton was my boss when I worked at the prison. Good man right there. Youll learn more about him in the book. I sang at a wedding. The bride and groom didnt know I was going to show up- I think! I ate some amazing homemade brownies! Kristi Smith gave me the audio version of my book WTB. Gabe Wicks read and recorded the audio. Ive been listening to it all evening. Its great!! Rocking my Marmot shirt! Carole and Paul sent me a gift. It took me a long time to figure out what it said. I had it upside down.
