Very different Christmas but once again a busy one. With surgery and not having the results I had expected from it, it has been a bit rough. But Christmas Eve began with a beautiful lunch with my mom (Jean) and Joyce her friend for over 64 years along with Bryan, Jennifer, Deborah, Reece and Kari. Kari prepared a fantastic meal and everyone helped clean up. Then Jennifer blessed me by driving me, Grandma Jean and Joyce to candlelight service at our church, while Deborah and Kari prepared for the Christmas Eve gathering at my house. What a blessing, to have the Quidleys, the Weisss, our neighbors, Uncle David, niece Cami, her husband Geoff and their son Sam, along with our third daughter Lydia and her sister. It was a blessed time together. Then up early Christmas morning with a very excited Reece. Very first time that he really was excited and knew that Santa had come. So excited he just began opening up his presents, I mean after all they were his and his name was on them. Oh the memories! I am a mother, wife, grandmother, daughter, woman that is truly blessed beyond measure! Thank you Lord for all you have done and are doing!
