Very frustrating day today at hospital. After calling in two favours for lifts to and from the hospital as I have 24 hour eye drops in , I am now told they are not operating after all as my eyesight has deteriorated further since they last saw me 10 days ago . I now have another appointment next Tuesday at 10:00 as they need to monitor me . The consensus between the 3 consultants that saw me is that it is my hypertension ( high blood pressure) causing this on my eyes but they are also concerned that I am at very high risk of stroke . They tried to get me booked to have an MRI scan but this may happen on Tuesday. Looks like I have to educate my dogs on looking out for symptoms of stroke and to call for an ambulance! In the meantime I have been told that my eyesight has degenerated to an extent where driving during the daylight is borderline but I cannot drive at night . Therefore please if anyone in the Newmarket can help me with lifts to / from work please let me know either publicly on this message or via pm thank you in advance of course Ill sort out fuel costs
