Very interesting article. Will send giant ripples through the true crime community no doubt. Even if it were true that Kominskis DNA was found on the shawl, it is well within the bounds of possibility that he had frequented Eddowes and used her services as he lived in the area. It doesnt prove that he had given her the shawl and it doesnt place him at the scene of the crime as the object is easily transported. She may have picked it up or been given it by another client and used it to lay down on when she was servicing her customers, one of which could have been Kominski. Despite the probability of doubt this seems to be the strongest evidence produced to date of the identity of the killer (who happened to be a main suspect at the time). Food for thought. dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2746321/Jack-Ripper-unmasked-How-amateur-sleuth-used-DNA-breakthrough-identify-Britains-notorious-criminal-126-years-string-terrible-murders.html#ixzz3CaNRl5bX
