Very interesting thing just happened. As I was driving this morning I heard my brakes make a little squeaking sound. Knowing that breaks go bad very quickly after hearing the squeaking sound I took the car to a mechanic. This was not my regular mechanic because he is only open until noon on Saturdays. I didnt think that he would have time to see my car before he closed. I was told that my brake pads dont look bad but theres a lot of rust on the rotors and that I needed my front rotors changed and should probably think about changing the back brakes even though they werent bad yet. In total the estimate was $485. I decided to wait and see my mechanic. He told me he could take a look at my brakes even though he was close to closing time. He found nothing wrong with my brake pads or rotors. He said the back brakes were starting to get a little thin but I probably had another eight or nine thousand miles to go before I need to change them. Smh
