Very proud of Gator. Jocks lock into a mindset while doing their exercise. Last night a guy with a pitbull was close to where Gator was running and the pitbull was acting bad ass but Gator, being on a run, ignored him and did not alter speed, attitude or stance, just kept on trucking. It sure made the other dog quiet when Gator ignored his loud aggressive attitude. Close to 14 miles this week running for Gator. He is as serious as anyone I have ever seen on runs. So anyway, when I was in the construction business, I paid the bills from my house and one of the concrete men had a really bad pitbull that had a reputation for being a killer. His dog killed wild pigs, a cow once and some goats. You did not approach his truck! He took the dog everywhere, heavy duty chained in the back of the truck. We had a dog named Poco, most expensive dog I ever owned, not from what you might think. He jumped on the front of a Fire Bird driving down the street and scratched the hood decal which I paid to have re-painted, he went through a neighbors car window as she was driving by (he was covered in mud from playing outside) and there was a cleaning bill, ate two motorcycle helmets liners........... just something every week but the guy was over with his killer dog when he looked outside and screamed he needed to beat the dog. Poco had his much larger aggressive dog by the throat, dragging him away from the house upside down. Tim never took his dog when he came over again. Poco, the mutt, shamed him, and no, I did not allow him to run wild. If a door was opened, a window cracked, he was gone. My daughters never just ran out the house, if there was a big enough space, Poco would hit them on his way out. Night! Wonder if Sandra or Heather remember the bruises from Poco going thirty miles an hour by them to get out? Great dog. But no Gator!!
