Very rewarding and long today started at 0715 hrs with the Cub Scout Pack #41 Applebees Pancake Breakfast in Middletown . Pancakes , Bacon , Coffee , Juice . Great job by the staff onsite especially General Manager Steve . His instructions and encouragement throughout and genuine interest in our group doing well showed and Applebees is lucky to have him onboard . We served a little north of 200 breakfasts in two hours , all the leaders , scouts and parents did a great job with a continuous flow throughout . From there it was off to the Mountainview United Methodist Church in Pine Bush , our charter organization , for their annual Thanksgiving dinner for the community . We had another group of scouts , leaders and parents , most pulling double duty serving the dinners and handling the clean up , think there were around 200 dinners served there . Finished up there by 330 pm . Pastor Rob does a great job there and it was our pleasure to help the church and meet many members of the community as well . I cant mention all the names because so many were involved today , knowing my luck I would leave someone out , but the thanks from myself is from the heart .
