Very sad indeed to hear of the passing of my good friend and collaborator, Darren Shahlavi - A profoundly talented and incredibly good guy - disciplined, driven and supremely talented. We came from the same part of England, bumped into each other in Vancouver and laughed about the path our lives had taken. We made two movies together over the years, leveled buildings, fought titans, froze in sub-zero weather and told jokes - Darren was on the cusp of greatness! It is a bitter loss, and he leaves a terrible chasm.
