Very tired but just had to write to tell about today, first with my team of 3 nurses from Sierra Leone, then with ebola patients... As we were dressing in our PPE (personal protective equipment/spacesuits), I was telling the nurses about all of the comments from everyone on Facebook, about all of the support, caring, concern, about people donating to Red Cross, volunteering... We all ended up in tears. They are SO appreciative. (When I have faster internet, Ill post Brimas We thank you, we love you song and dance. In PPE. :-)) Then when we went into the high risk area, I told some of the stable patients the same thing - You should have SEEN the smiles that lit up their faces! My heart was bursting. Humanity. Its everywhere.
