Veteran trade unionist and CPI(M) leader Comrade K L Bajaj who participated in Goan Liberation movement died in Mumbai today following a brief illness. He was 78-year-old. He joined public life through the Revolutionary Communist Party of India and joined CPI(M) in 1964. Bajaj participated in the movement for the liberation of Goa from Portuguese occupation and was arrested by Portuguese regime.. He was imprisoned several times during his five-decade-long political life while fighting for working class and peasantry. The working class has lost an outstanding leader in its movement in India.
