Via Ana Fitzpatrick- A month ago Ive met a girl Ive heard so much about. A girl who willingly married a man with a terminal disease and who fought nail and tooth to save his endangered life. She fought along side him graciously, smiling through the human adversity and the systems incapability to adjust to a cursed disease which was running rampant in her beloveds body. She drove each week through rain and sleet on bad roads to be at his bedside in a God awful hospital with rancid moldy walls where death was visiting more often than one could think of. She spent her nights at his bedside sleeping wherever she could, trying to nurse him back to health. She was the one who went and begged people to donate blood he needed so when the hospitals supplies were depleted and helped keep him alive. She got so sick she ended up on a hospital bed herself but never complained. You are my hero Caro, blessed be the parents who raised such a girl!
