Via City of Lancaster, PA Government: A snow emergency will go into effect today at Noon, at which time City Hall and all City offices will close. Parking Garages will be open to allow residents to move their vehicles in order for crews to clear roadways designated for snow emergency. Weather reports indicate 2-3 inches of snow will fall throughout the day with increasing amounts up to 8 inches to fall throughout the night. Temperatures are expected to drop to 2 degrees tonight.
