Here are 11 simple questions that republicans should be able to answer with an intelligent response. Can one of you out there give me some answers? 1. Why are we targeting military pensions for budget money and not taking a look at terminating oil subsidizes at a time of historic profits? 2. Why are we cutting food stamp and obstructing unemployment benefits while there are multiple tax loopholes that could be closed? 3. Why does the Speaker of the House continue to refuse to bring the Presidents Infrastructure Bill to the floor yet keeps asking the President - where are the jobs? 4. Why does Congress keep reporting that the economy is not progressing when we just experienced our 52nd consecutive month of private sector job growth and the stock market closed at an historical high number? 5. Why does Congress feel that every budget should be funded by the poor, students, middle-class, and seniors while giving tax breaks to those who need it the least? 6. Why are republican governors and legislatures blocking Medicaid expansion when it doesnt cost the State one dime for the first three years and then only 10% per year thereafter? How many millions of people are having to do without medical coverage in those states? 7. Why are republican states passing voting discriminative laws when its been proven that voter fraud is very rare and insignificant in its effect on the elections? Could it be to rig election results? 8. Why is it so important that our election system be bought and sold by rich people? 9. If you vote for the same republican that is currently in office in November, do you think obstruction will continue? What position does that put those families that are suffering right now? 10. How can the religious right profess to be Christians and stand out in the road to block the safe transfer of young children? BONUS: Why have we priced a gallon of gasoline so damn high that it has the general population in a choke hold? What is the justification for a price of gasoline trippling in the past 5 years? - Dale Pollard
