Via Denny Cormier and Walid Rouk I had the great honor of visiting the village of Khuzaa yesterday. I was accompanied by friends and by the people of Khuzaa who are so very dear to me. During my visit, Walid Rouk and Adham Najjar filmed my reactions to what I saw and experienced during the visit. I was horrified... the destruction of this beautiful village by the Israeli military is barbaric. I wept often even as we gathered for a meal that we shared together at Walids home... They told me not to weep for them, but I could not help myself. There are no adequate words to describe what I saw, my dear friends.... these are my words that Walid and Adam filmed for you. Welcome to Khuzaa - a city that will rise again.
