Via Georgia Shilander... Such effortless artistry...not without effort, of course, but I wonder at the ability to create such beauty. I think of my sister Ann, having watched her create her paintings. Her world during those times was a world within ours, separate and not; present here but more there. I learned to just sit quietly and watch, because she will not fracture her concentration for idle chit chat. I wouldnt either, had I a gift like hers--and like this ceramic master.
