Via Paul WatsonStop the Japanese Whalers Violence ! Shark Takes Revenge on Japanese Poacher A Japanese fisherman was attacked and bitten by a shark inside a shark sanctuary and inside the territorial waters of French Polynesia. This was not a normal shark attack and certainly not a case of a shark mistaking a surfer for a seal. This fishermen was onboard his ship. Unfortunately the shark was also onboard the ship. I wonder how it got there? A shark onboard a Japanese ship in a sanctuary inside French territorial waters? So before the fisherman was able to slice off the shark’s fin, the shark decided to do something quite remarkable. It defended itself. And now the Japanese are claiming that the man was a victim of a shark attack. Sort of like a woman walking through a park and she is attacked by a rapist. She pulls out a weapon and injures her attacker who then complains that the woman injured him. The Japanese vessel had 10 sharks onboard. The fisherman was evacuated by the French Navy and taken to hospital. Although the Japanese vessel should be charged with illegal fishing there is no indication that charges have been laid. The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society believes that Japanese and Taiwanese fishing boats regularly invade marine sanctuaries in the Pacific. There have been many cases, especially in the Galapagos where this has been discovered due to an injury or death on a fishing boat within a sanctuary. The shark here is innocent by reason of self defense. The fisherman is guilty of poaching. ~ Monica tahiti-infos/Un-marin-mordu-par-un-requin-evacuation-sanitaire-au-large-des-Tuamotu_a77141.html
