Via Spike Ravenscroft, this,link of the MSP for Midlothian and Tweeddale is fast becoming, and rightly so, legend. With our ageing population becoming ever larger, it is this sector of society in the forthcoming months that need to be assured of their pensions, credits etc. Only by engaging them face to face can the battle be won. The majority as is pointed out in this link, get their news from TV, radio and the printed word. Social media is not common place. I am not suggesting we move them all over to social meia, no, the old fashioned way; face to face, a cuppa, a meeting in their community, wherever they are comfortable. Engaging this sector of the voting population this way will bring greater sway and gravitas to our beliefs that we are asking them to change their vote for.
