Via the Environmental Pillar What looked like an opportunity to have a serious discussion on television re climate change has disintegrated with the stacking of the panel, including an imported “climate sceptic” from the UK, and the president of the IFA. John Sweeney Irelands leading expert on the subject was to be on the panel but will withdraw today. There is no need for yet another “balanced” discussion on whether climate change is real and anthropogenic. What is needed is a discussion on what to do about it.
