Vicki Nordyke Broset your number is 7, from John Love. (My last round please, I am a FREE ZONE, 3rd time.) 1. Some friends asked me if I would officiate their marriage. I became a an Ordained Minister Dec. 2012. 2. I love doing 10 Key and tested 223 strokes/0 errors a minute. I dont know if that is good. My typing on a manual is 65wpm/0 errors, 73wpm/errors on an electric. I just like punching buttons. I know there are people that can do twice as many wpm. It really is about punching buttons for me. 3. My most favorite job was Data Processing for Glenn General and Plumas District Hospital, it took me 17 days with lots of overtime to catch Plumas District Hospital up with their billing as they were several weeks behind. Which made me miss my 10 year class reunion. 4. I hit black ice on #2 Tunnel on Hwy. 70, my 30th birthday, which started the domino effect of me being on crutches perm. 4 days later the pin in my rt. hip broke and shot down my leg. When I saw my Dr. it was a mess and he told me that I couldnt live in SNOW at all. It was a TOUGH decision moving because I LOVED my JOB in PORTOLA, CA. At the time I never dreamed I would be on crutches still, 20 years later, this Dec. Im thankful I can still walk - carefully & slowly now. The right hip cant be fixed at this time. 5. Im waiting for my friend to become an Ordained Minister so he can baptize me this summer. Its hard to explain why, but I wasnt allowed to be baptized when I was young and told I could at 18, when that time came, I was still told I couldnt because that was the rules where I lived and I honored that. Once on my own and too this day, it still bothers me because I believe in my faith and know I need to be baptized. So I asked my friend and he said absolutely. I know in my heart Im saved but that is a public profession and needs to be done. 6. I love Milk Chocolate with caramel and original Jolly Ranchers. 7. When I was 15 I had the chance of going on the American Heritage Trip back East. NY, NY, Boston, MASS, & Philadelphia. Mr. Farnsworth was our chaperone. Ill never forget the Changing of the Guards at the National Arlington Cemetery. It has stuck with me to this day and the eternal flame for JFK. I also had the chance to see the Twin Towers in all their glory as we took a tour of the United Nations. I still have a few buttons from there. Im thankful I had that opportunity.
