Vickie began radiation treatment today for the lesions on her femur and spine. Her doctors at EAMC are going to consult with MD Anderson regarding her appt. EAMC does not want to wait a month before Vickie can start chemo treatment. They prefer to administer a few radiation treatments and then Vickie make the trip to Houston. MD Anderson is very concerned about possible fractures resulting from the lesions in the lumbar area. So, we are waiting for word from the doctors as to what the plan is. Vickie is still in good spiriits. She keeps telling me it is going to be all right. This is so typical of Vickie - always looking out for someone else. My reply is always, you are right because I wont accept anything else. Please continue your prayers for Vickie, Charles and Andrew. We appreciate every single one of them. I will update when I have new info. Thanks,
