Victorious Women meeting tomorrow morning with week #3 of our work shop series. Coming up on April 3 is Alan Smith from Gateway Church in Dallas, TX. Bring a friend, make a friend, be refreshed in worship of our awesome God Thursday mornings at 9:30 am in the Ground Floor. Child care is provided as well as home school classes. Here is a description of the work shop choices: Jessica Lehti - “Talking Control of Your Finances According to God’s Plan” We will explore the balance among saving, spending, and borrowing in order to help you create/achieve your short and long term financial goals Gods way. While we may have husbands that lead our finances today, 90% of all woman at some point in their lives will be solely responsible for their finances. All of this will be presented from a womans perspective and with real life examples. We are going to discuss how to create a secure financial future, we will discuss creating a budget, how to plan for college, different ways to save for retirement, and how to determine if our retirement savings is sufficient. Room: Oneighty Lori Snyder - From a Mess to a Miracle Too often we think that our faith is not working and no matter how hard we try, it appears our situation will never change. Our emotions and thoughts become toxic rooted in fear and doubt. These thoughts paint a skewed picture within our hearts, which result in hopelessness, despair and a dread for the future. However, there is hope for any situation. God is the Redeemer and with Him, all things are possible for those who believe. Come learn how to change the way you think, how to establish your heart in the truth of God’s Word, and see His power transform your life. Room: Zone Pastor Karen Waldhart – “Unforced Rhythms of Grace” The Message bible writes Matt. 11:28 this way: “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” As we uncover the truth about Gods amazing love and grace and learn of our identity in Christ, learn how to de-stress and to walk in a place of rest and freedom according to the unforced rhythms of grace found in Jesus Christ.
