(Video) [9/29/2014] Oklahoma Beheading Being Called Workplace Violence Lone wolf terrorist or angry employee? Thats what some are asking in the aftermath of a shocking beheading at a business in Moore, Oklahoma. On Fox and Friends this morning, Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) said the appalling attack cannot be classified as simply workplace violence, as one MSNBC host referred to it this weekend. The administration was criticized in recent years for classifying the Ford Hood attack as a workplace shooting instead of as terrorism. “I think Americans arent confused about this what this is. This is a clear case of an individual going in and doing something that doesnt meet their definition of workplace violence, so you know, I think any rational thinking American is going to look at this and go, this is more than just normal workplace violence, said Gov. Perry. ISIS had recently called for lone wolf attacks on the United States after releasing a series of videos showing the beheadings of three Westerners, including two American journalists. Perry said the investigation must be completed before any judgment is made, but at some point in time, I think the administration does have to address this as what it appears to many people that it is: an act of violence that is associated with terrorism. A Facebook page attributed to the suspect, Alton Nolen, contains a photo of the smoldering Twin Towers and a list of America’s “sins.” It also says that the Statue of Liberty will go up in flames. Formal charges against Nolen are expected later today.
