Video Game Music Monday! This is a section where I post a piece of music from a video game, any video game, whose music I am very fond of. This obviously means I dont have to like the game or even play it, though it helps. You can comment on how amazing (or horrible) the piece is, how awesome (or stupid) the game its from is, or recommend music that youd like to hear. Many JRPGs tend to follow the anime art style, and sometimes even have anime cutscenes to go with them, including an opening. While Tales of Graces is no anime (and Im kind of glad it isnt), its opening is definitely up there with some of the best. Mamoritai -White Wishes- is a typical J-Pop theme, but what is unique about it is that it has both a Japanese and English version. This is because the games publisher, Bandai Namco, decided that the English version of the game needed an English version of the song. While I question their logic for doing so, both versions are nice to listen to on their own. I have provided the Japanese version below, and I apologize for the poor quality of the video. Nevertheless, what do you think of my choice? =)
