Video Shoot Promoting Bicycling in Punta Gorda. I just got a telephone call from the City Manager. The Charlotte County Tourism Bureau is doing a 3 minute Video for the Rand McNally "Best of the Road" Competition. They want the Saturday Morning Riders in it. Looking for a fun ride Saturday Morning? Acme Bicycle Shop in Punta Gorda is the starting point for a very popular Saturday Morning Group Ride. There are rides for ALL rider proficiencies. Most rides are "NO DROP". If you go with a ride leader, they will watch the whole group and slow down until the pace is comfortable for the slowest rider. All riders are welcome. Smaller groups of experienced riders will break away and ride at their own pace. Saturday Morning, 8:00 to get ready, 8:30 bikes roll.
