Video games. I tend to have a love hate relationship with my games. On the one hand, there is nothing GOOD or interesting to play anymore. So i get frustrated and bored. LIke for world of warcraft - they devalue creativity and intelligent combat, in exchange for meta style balance and simple math based gameplay. Its boring and stupid. In my opinion. But yea i love to create builds and be different roles in games. Support, healer, defense, offensive, pets and armies, sneak scoundrel, and tons of other roles. I love team fights and social gaming more then single player gaming. I also love creating new builds that are specialized in team play. I dont like when i am limited in my creativity and told to play a simple 1 2 3 gameplay that lacks any real freedom and interesting mechanics. Metas are like a certain whats hot and what only works type of gameplay. Its basically power gamers that want to win so much they devalue cool strategies for the optimal strategy. I guess people have more fun winning and less fun being creative. They may depend on winning to give them happiness. I prefer using my creativity to grow new things and take care of them. I dont like intellectual maximizing over creative design. That is just my opinion though. ON THE OTHER HAND ...when i drink rum or drink coffee, i can get a changed mind state and play stupid games with simple happiness. I just accept my gold glittered crap and have fun. So yea. Its sad that i need rum or coffee or a chemical to get me in the mood to have fun playing a game.
