Vietnam Airlines linked Da Nang (DAD) to Seoul Incheon (ICN), making it the third Vietnamese city in its network to be linked to the South Korean capital with non-stop services. Beginning on 1 July, the carrier offers thrice-weekly flights on the 3,000-kilometre route which it operates using A321s. Vietnam Airlines faces competition from Korean Air’s four and Asiana Airlines’ twice-weekly frequencies.
