Vikramaditya exhorts party workers to reach out to every sections of society Jammu, September 27: Exhorting party workers to reach out to the every sections of the society to spread message of the party, senior leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Yuvraj Vikramaditya Singh today said that PDP under the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is committed to change destiny of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. “Need of the hour to spread message of the party in very nook and corner of the State to educate the people about visionary agenda of PDP”, Yuvraj Vikramaditya Singh said while addressing party workers of Gandhi Nagar assembly segment. He reiterated that aspirations and concerns of every sections of the society would be adequately accommodated by the PDP in its pro-people agenda. “PDP is the only party which had formulated treated all regions and sub-regional equally and party would continue to accommodate wishes and aspirations all sections in its programmes and policies in future also”, he assured and exhorted party workers to mobilize common masses of become part of movement for change in Jammu and Kashmir. “Every section has to play its role in shaping up politically emancipated and economically vibrant future for Jammu and Kashmir”, he said and added that PDP is committed to establish a new system of justice and equality in the State. Terming Gandhi Nagar as prestigious assembly segment, Mr Vikramaditya Singh hoped that PDP would emerge victorious in this segment because people have faith on the policies and programmes of the party. Yurraj Vikramaditya Singh called upon the workers to mobilize youth because younger generation was annoyed with the present dispensation due to its wrong policies. He said that state has been plunged into unprecedented crises due to the mis-goverance of the present regime and youth were the worst victim of the wrong policies of the government. Speaking on the occasion, former Minister, Sardar Rangil Singh called upon the party workers to come on streets to peacefully oppose wrong policies of the government. “Being a responsibility opposition party you have to shoulder the responsibility of highlighting problems of the people”, he called upon the workers and pointed out after recent floods there was totally anarchy and chaos in the whole State. “In its tenure six years this regime has exposed because it has failed to fulfil all promises made with the people during the last assembly elections”, he said and pointed out that the much publicized employment policy of this regime was ultimately turned out to be cruel joke with the educated unemployed youth of the State. Calling upon the youth to spread message of the party in the state, former Rajya Sabha member Trilok Singh Bajwa said that PDP was as a vehicle for socio economic transformation of the state rather than a mere power player. He said it was an acknowledgement of the credibility of party agenda that people from all walks of life were joining it even though it was presently in opposition. PDP candidate for Gandhi Nagar Amrik Singh Reen assured the gathering that he would serve the people with commitment and dedication. “We are soldiers of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed who has decided to make Jammu and Kashmir as an Island of peace and development”, Mr Reen said and exhorted party workers to spread message of the party in every nock and corner of Gandhi Nagar assembly segment. Sr leader and former MLC Ved Mahajan, Coordinator Hamid choudhary, Depender Kour, state Secy and incharge Gandhi Nagar Rashid Malik, Jagjeet Singh Jagga, R K Bali, Rajender Manhas, Surjeet Kour, Capt Anil Gour, Satpal Charak, Madan Chalotra, Maj Gen (Retd) R S Jamwal, Jatinder Bhat, Ballbir Singh, Harmeet Singh, Varinder Singh Sonu, Deepak Handa, Showkat Gujjar, Talib Hussain and others were also present on the occasion. mm
