“Villa Angela - comforts of home in a mansion(!)” Reviewed 5 days ago by Rufino SF of San Francisco Went to Vigan for 5 nights in August 2014 and stayed at the Villa Angela. Nice place, much of the interior has an old-world look and feel -- rooms with 15 foot ceilings, huge armoires and canopy beds, cane lounge chairs, and a central dinning table that could easily accommodate a large party. The Villa was also located about 1.5 blocks from Crisologo Street - the street that runs through the main historic district. A lot of the old mansions in this area are slowly being converted to boutique hotels, but perhaps what sets Villa Angela apart is the hospitality of Maricris and Tony Pandoro -- they really went above and beyond to make my stay interesting and comfortable. They even took me to see some old churches an hour outside of the city limits, free of charge! I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if youre traveling with a large group or family. It is reasonably priced, conveniently located, and the Pandoros will take personally take care of your every need. The hotel has WiFi.
