Vincent Fantauzzo Artist Painter All artworks Copyright © Vincent Fantauzzo Australian painter renowned for his portrait work, Vincent Fantauzzo exhibited worldwide with shows in India, Vietnam, New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Australia. Born in 1977 in the UK, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting, and Masters of Fine Arts, at RMIT University, he is now an Adjunct Professor with RMIT. Vincent’s entry in the 2008 Archibald Portrait Prize of the late Heath Ledger won him the runner-up and the People’s Choice award. In 2009 his entry of actor Brandon Walters in Baz Luhrmann’s epic ‘Australia’ again won him the People’s Choice award. In 2011 Vincent won the Archibald Packing Room Prize, the Doug Moran Portrait Prize, as well as the Metro Art Award. Last year Vincent produced 30 portraits in 30 days of inspirational Australians. The 30 portraits were displayed at NGV Studio, Federation Square, Melbourne. Most recently, Vincent was a finalist for the 2013 Archibald Prize with his portrait of partner Asher Keddie, ‘Love Face,’ which won the People’s Choice Award.
