Vintage late sixties, early seventies pics I thought I would share via another group. Mendocino County fires, Ukiah Air Attack base. My dad had a thrifty year career in USFS and long time era in CDF, from late fifties to late eighties. He retired as ranger ll Sonoma ranger unit in charge. Seventies, he was involved and responsible working aerial air ops directing borate-retardant drops. These are some hes seen in action years ago.
