Vipers FC move to third place Former Uganda League champions Vipers FC have this evening gone third on the FUFA Super League log after securing a barren draw away to Express FC at the Wankulukuku Stadium. The draw means coach Ambrose Duru Chukuma’s side moves ahead of defending champions KCCA FC with a point better. Express skipper Willy Kavuma played well in-front of the home fans, but the Vipers team stood strong. The Red Eagles Express as they are popularly known registered their second draw in the league. “We shall keep working hard to see that we get positive results. “We had the chance to win the game today, but my strikers were very shy at goal,” said Express coach Frank Anyau. In the second league game played at the Lugogo Stadium, Proline FC and Police FC settled for a barren draw. It was the first point for Proline FC from three games played, while Police picked their second point. Action in the league continues on Friday with six matches on card. Defending champions KCCA FC will face table leaders Soana FC who are yet to suffer defeat. In the other games on card URA FC will take on Simba, while Entebbe FC battle second placed SC Victoria.
