However, there is a proposed Constitutional Amendment which would read: That the people shall have a right to acquire, for their own consumption, farm-produced food, directly at the farm from the farmer who produced it. The proposed Constitutional Amendment has passed out of the Privileges and Election Sub-Committees. It will now be heard in full Committee on January 27, 2015.
