Virunga has created a storm in the documentary world and follows the true story of a group of passionate park rangers risking their lives to protect the habitat of the worlds last remaining mountain gorilla population. It is a gripping expose of the realities of life in the Congo, and the embattled team of park rangers protect this UNESCO world heritage site from armed militia, poachers and the dark forces struggling to control the regions rich natural resources. Antenna Documentary Film Festival present its Australian premiere this Saturday the 18th of October, 6pm at Chauvel Cinema in Sydney.
