Lotti Benardout, better known as Lotti, was the lead vocalist of Tricity and Baby Sol. She was born in a small town in Zaire, now known as the Democratic republic of Congo. Lotti moved to the UK in 1990 at the age of 16, and in 2002 after auditioning with a local youth choir in West London she was signed to a management duo under Kool Music Entertainment. Lotti became part of Michelle Escoffreys Kindred Spirit Collective in 2004 and three years later she quit her day job to pursue a full time career in music. Lotti has since featured on DJ Ironiks debut album and toured the UK, Europe and Australia with Paloma Faith as well as supporting Daniel Merriweather on the UK leg of his tour. Lotti started a band with two of her best friends Aaron and Nico, back in 2011, writing and recording material, playing festivals and even travelling to China to perform at Shanghai Fashion Week. Although the band still write together, they called it a day to focus on separate side projects. Since then Lotti has collaborated with a range of different dance producers and written for her solo projects. In 2013, her vocals featured on Redlights Lost In Your Love which got to number 5 in the UK charts. With more tracks to be released and some very exciting collaborations over the summer she is definitely our hot new thing to look out for!
