Visitation for Fred will be Sunday from 2-8 and funeral will be Monday at 2:00 at Shannons funeral home on Main Street in Shelbyville. Its hard to believe he is really gone just 8 days after entering the hospital.Our hearts grieve our great loss but I am happy he is free of his brain cancer and I praise God he no longer suffers and he didnt experience many of the other agonies he could have had if he lived longer with this horrid cancer.I praise God and thank the nurses in palliative care at Baptist East for managing his care and keeping him from any pain and that he could pass so peacefully in his sleep. I will miss him more then I could even explain. He was the most gentle, kind and caring person I ever knew.
