Visited my Dad on this day and he was perplexed at the state of his familys treatment of me and was proud of me allowing Aleshia to go to the Thanksgiving dinner at daughter Jonis house. He seemed to be telling me that it was a nice thing for me to do for his granddaughter and her children while not being too happy with her treatment of her Uncle Jim. He was wondering how long it will take, at 28 years of age, for her to grow up and act right toward her kids and ALL her family and to not focus so much on herself. He remembered talking with her and then when she didnt like what was said, she would gather the kids and storm out the door. He was thinking that maybe Uncle Jim can let Aleshia know of the thoughts her Pop had from time to time, and she will remember his wise counsel and make things right with her Uncle Jim. He was thinking that the rest of the family will do the same, thinking about what Brother and Uncle Jim says from time to time and to not dismiss what he says because he has gotten his counsel from his Father. If those reading this, think Uncle Jim to be in need of counseling, perhaps they should remember the counsel they got from their Father and their Poppy.
