Visiting dairy farmers and silage contractors around Humansdorp today on our way to George from Port Elizabeth. Introducing them to our biological products for dairy farmers. Yesterday visited dairy farmers who belong to a study group of 12 farmers around East London who are cranked up about biological farming and realise its the only way to go. One farmer has already made silage with consortia probiotics and its the best silage he made in 9 years. It does not just smell sour, but sweet as well, which makes it much more yummy for cows and seeing and smelling it ourselves made me want to eat eat :-) There is also no mould on the outside layers of his silage which is typical with other silage agents. He is very excited as another farmer that has been using consortia probiotics for 9 years has transformed his farm to completely biological. He hardly uses any fertilizers, pesticides or antibiotics. Neil Kinsey, the internationally recognized master biological farm consultant visited the farm and said its the best dairy farm he ever saw. Times they are a changing....
