Vixons Golden Flyer AKA Ashley, is a registered 8 year old Morgan mare that does it all! She is 15hh and is very smooth for a non gaited horse. She w/t/c with ease. She is a solid 3D barrel/pole horse that has only been started this Spring. She has not been pushed and nor does she have proper technique of patterns. With finishing, she will be fantastic. After 5 weeks of showing her the patterns, she qualified into the KY 4-H State Competition. This horse LOVES to run, she is for an experienced rider only. Ashley also runs Flags VERY well. She has performed as part of the Young Guns Drill Team for the past two years carrying an American Flag. She has been ridden in several rodeo performances, fairs, Breyerfest and in the Cincinnati Reds Opening Day Parade. This mare trail rides like a dream. She will keep up and probably pass your Walking Horse friends. She will lead or follow, but she is usually leading with her walking pace. Ashley has been also competed and placed in endurance racing. She has a ton of natural stamina. This mare will not quit. In my opinion, Ashley is a little on the hot side, but she has never offered to buck, rear or do anything dangerous. She is just a horse that likes to go, an experienced rider will have a lot of fun for years to come with this horse. She will load into any trailer, has overnight camped and will stand tied all day to the trailer. Ashley is up to date on farrier, shots, teeth floating, chiropractor and Coggins.
