Volunteer Coordinators Needed at Uhuru Furniture! 2 available volunteer positions open - onsite and work from home. The work from home Volunteer Coordinator job duties consist of: 1) promoting the furniture store through online resources (craigslist/volunteermatch/facebook,etc.) and 2) making initial contact with volunteer leads through phone or email. This job is daily and times are flexible. The onsite Volunteer Coordinator duties are on Saturdays and consist of: face-to-face contact with volunteers, greet and participate in morning overview and orientation (led by the marketing coordinator), leading the volunteers distributing flyers and posters in the community to let people know we pick up furniture and collectibles donations to support the nonprofit. (Onsite Volunteer Coordinator Hours are Saturdays from 10:30am-3pm)
