Volunteer Trainers Needed for 2015 Homeless Point-in-Time Count! Our friends at @211OC are looking for help! Please consider volunteering to serve as a Volunteer Trainer for the next Point-in-Time Count- Saturday, January 24th, 2015 - 4:30 am - 9:00 am. Job Description: A Train the Trainer method is being used to ensure all people volunteering to count unsheltered homeless individuals and families are prepared to work in the field on the morning of Saturday, January 24th, 2015. As a trainer, you will (1) participate in approximately 8 hours of training provided by an expert and (2) facilitate trainings for a minimum of 2 PIT fieldwork volunteer sessions (approx. 3 hours in length each). The total time commitment is approximately 16 - 20 hours. The volunteer sessions you will facilitate will be held at various days, times, and locations throughout the county including evenings and weekends. Trainers will be able to select preferred training day(s)/time(s)/location(s) and priority will be given to trainers whose organizations are also training sites.
