Volunteer opportunities: Hi people, hows your week going? I hope you all remember that there will be a car wash fundraising event going on this Friday, thanks for those who signed up to volunteer, for those who arent able to help out, please support the fundraising event by dropping by for a car wash or spread the word out!! =D Because of the time conflict, we are prompted to skip the daily bread volunteering for this week. However, theres another volunteer event instead on Saturday. Event: River Cleanup in Central Mission Valley Location: Mission Valley Library, Fenton Parkway Date: March 29th (Sat) Time: 9am-12pm Attire: Dress in clothes that can get a little dirty and wear closed shoes, no sandals or flip-flops allowed for safety reasons. Brief Description: Help save a river while making Mission Valley a healthier community for everyone! We will be cleaning up a section of the river that is normally off-limits. Come explore this wonderful area and make a difference for its future. This is a great activity for people interested in clean water and a clean habitat for the plants and animals that call the river home. All tools and supplies are provided. Community service hours can be verified for those that need them. Volunteers will meet at the south end of Fenton Parkway near the Mission Valley Library and IKEA.
