Volunteering. Volunteering with our organization is our passion and really exciting. Our organization offers you all ways possible for you not to miss and visit Uganda. The organization’s plan of volunteers is to give them accommodation our local meals ( you can prepare them in your own way) and security. Then accommodation is in the village where our activities are based , unless we locate you to another accessed project according to your volunteering desire. This village has no electricity and local sources of light is used during dark hours. But plans of Solar energy installation is in progress. In case you can devise your own means as the village is 15 (fifteen) km from town , you can find your own means of accommodation and meals with the help of the organization. The organization offers three meals a day ie. Break tea , lunch and supper or dinner as well as transport picking you at our national air port not through other countries and a certificate of appreciation for volunteering with us. Volunteers program fee ( $ US) • 1.Week $ 296.00 • 2 Weeks $ 391.00 • 3 Weeks $ 487.00 • 4 Weeks $ 580.00 • 5 Weeks $ 650.00 • 6 Weeks $ 720.00 • 7Weeks $ 790.00 • 8 Weeks $ 860.00 • 9 Weeks $ 930.00 • 10 Weeks $ 1.000.00 • 11 Weeks $ 1.070.00 • 12 Weeks $ 1.140.00 Volunteer Activities • Teaching activities in Primary • Agriculture and farming activities • Home visits and experience activities • Data analysis and documentation • Child care, sleeping conditions and counseling activities • Health and sanitation activities • Coaching sports and games • Project proposal writing. • We also help and arrange for those ones who want to volunteer in specific fields of their wish out side our organizations. • Preaching and teaching Sunday school in the protestant & catholic churches if you are a christian volunteer. • Building and construction ( periodically) NB Come and volunteer with us . There is a lot to do and plan. Prospectus Plans 1. There is need for academic excellence in this community school , in addition to lunch , and boarding programes for the school pupils that come from far. 2. There is need for health and sanitation in this school as well as the whole village in terms of water supply, toilets and food hygiene. 3. There is a need for credit/ loaning program to farmers in order to increase out put. 4. There is need for a secondary school in this community and the church has already offered land for it, because pupils / students walk long distances to Secondary School. And this has led to school children drop out. 5. There is need for a health facility and the community has land for it and can offer some labour. 6. There is need for training in other enterprises other than agriculture and faming eg. Life skills for development. WHATS SO URGENT FOR THIS YEARS FUND RAISING MISSION. • Three orphans from the project are joining high school education and we need to continue supporting their education until we gets any sponsorship for them this covers about $500 dollars per term and we have three terms in ayear. • There is aneed for shoes and mattresses for all orphans and needy ones in the community and costing about $3000dollars. • Emergency food supply,this is to insure that we always have food for orphans to live on,this needs about $500 dollars each year depending on the standing conditions.
