Volunteers went to Liberia and came down with cases of Ebola, so - TopicsExpress

Volunteers went to Liberia and came down with cases of Ebola, so now they are bringing them home? Since I spent over 20 years working in a hospital, much of the time working with many patients in isolation due to infective diseases, I realize just how okay it is to transport these patients halfway around the world. Oh, wait... no!! At our hospital we absolutely minimized where and when they absolutely HAD to be transported to avoid contamination. So we must ask, why they are doing this with one of the most deadly diseases ever known? Wouldnt it be far less risky, and probably less of a danger to the patients, to fly medicine over there to them than to bring them 5000 miles here? Something doesnt smell right to me. But I know that my government wouldnt lie to me, so Ill just smile and nod my head.
