Volvo S90 - Rival for Jaguar XF This year Volvo has brought Volvo S90 concept to Detroit Motor Show 2015. The new Volvo S90 is the replacement of S80. S90 has focused on state of the technology and Swedish style. S 90 will mainly takes on rivals the Audi A6, BMW 5-series and Jaguar XF, according to the firm’s vice-president of product strategy, Lex Kerssemakers. The Volvo S90 and V90 are expected to be offered with the same choice of powertrains as the XC90, with the UK market focusing on the 394bhp T8 ‘Twin Engine’ plug-in hybrid and the D4 and D5 diesel engines. Volvo doesnt mention any launch date in India. The Volvo S90 will have primarily focused on US, China and UK. Hope that S90 has learned lessons from Volvo XC90 response.
