Vote Ayoub Khan for West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner on 21st August 2014. Anyone can talk the talk but few can walk the walk. There is little doubt that Ayoub Khan is a cut above the rest - and not just in the inner-sanctum of local politics. He is barrister by trade equipped with the necessary legal and political knowledge to deliver for the people of the West Midlands as a Police and Crime Commissioner. He has dedicated himself in the service of the people of West Midlands for a decade or so through the courts, and as a previously elected representative. In 2002, Ayoub khan ran to a mans rescue with gunmen still at the scene after a shooting incident fifty yards from his residence. A successful barrister by profession with a deep knowledge of the issues facing people in the region, he understands the need for people to feel safe. He is gifted with leadership and communication skills to ensure the best possible policing service for everyone in the West Midlands. His track record as cabinet member for Community Safety shows that he knows how to make the political system deliver for the people. More recently he took on the City Council in the bus lane entrapment fiasco and won the case paving the way of thousands of motorists hit by unfair fixed penalty charges in Birmingham. But more importantly, he is sincere, humble and very approachable. For example, he chooses to live in inner-city Aston to this day. He went to a local comprehensive school and has university degrees in three different disciplines. He continues to relish the nitty-gritty of community issues in the area with an unwelcome reputation for high crime and social deprivation. Unlike the other candidates, Ayoub Khan does not make bold statements or empty pledges in this election campaign. What you see is what you get with Ayoub Khan. Some might think that he is attracted by the £100,000 salary but financial gain is not Ayoub Khan motive otherwise he would be content as a successful barrister. What drives Ayoub Khan is a community and police partnership delivering for the needs of the community.
