Vote for the team of Pagano, Scalzi, Codispoti Board of Education members can expect long meetings, endless phone conversations and lots of criticism. I have seen the work and time required in becoming a knowledgeable, productive board member and I truly applaud all who throw their hats in that arena. Im sure it can sometimes feel like a thankless position. I have had the pleasure of knowing each of the three candidates on the Pagano, Scalzi and Codispoti team for 10 years or more. Joe Pagano and Jason Scalzi are ethical men with integrity and a history of service that goes far beyond what most of us could hope for in candidates. The candidate I would like to highlight is Kim Codispoti. Kim may not be as high profile simply because that is not her arena, but I think that is what makes her such an integral member of her running team. She is a wife, mother and grandmother and she approaches life as such. She is loyal and caring and works tirelessly for things that she holds near and dear to her heart. I have watched her be a support system for her family and for those around her. She has formed and continues to grow the Vineland Police Wives organization, which does community outreach, and she has volunteered for a very difficult role as a rape crisis advocate in our community. Our area veterans hold a special place in her heart and she puts lots of her time and energy towards supporting their causes and forming relationships with them. Therein lies one of her greatest assets; she forms relationships with those she works with and cares about. She has touched many lives and will continue to do so once she is asked to bring her energy and her compassion to the board of education. Enthusiasm, collaboration and a true sense of ethics is what you get when you vote for the team of Pagano, Scalzi and Codispoti. Diana L. Ulrich Vineland
