Souls Harbour, a soup kitchen that my little sister volunteers with in Halifax is in the final hours of their Aviva contest for a $100,000 kitchen renovation. They serve 25,000 meals per year to the hungry and homeless of Halifax. They have the teeniest kitchen and the walls, countertops and cupboards are warping from the steam and are in desperate need of repair. (They are currently neck in neck between first, second, and third place and the contest ends at 4 EST today I think!) A local company just offered a pair of brand new shoes as incentive to get people voting and sharing! Please, I am actually begging you :)
