Voters in Jefferson County approved four out of five ballot measures in Tuesdays election. Northwest R-1 School District voters approved a $12.5 million bond issue extension; voters in Festus said yes to a property tax that will provide full-time firefighters; the Northwest Jefferson County Ambulance District won approval of a half-cent sales tax; and Pevely voters reduced the term of its mayor from four to two years.
